<p>La Chapelle de l’Ecole des Beaux-Arts à Paris est un endroit en soi surréel : des copies à taille réelle des œuvres les plus remarquables de la Renaissance italienne et française y sont ressemblées. Le <em>Jugement dernier </em>de la Chapelle Sixtine de Michel-Ange, le <em>Colleoni </em>de Verrocchio, Niccolò Pisano et beaucoup d’autres. L’histoire de l’art réunie, comme dans une anthologie idéale, une galerie où des simulacres de chefs-d’œuvre se côtoient, échangent un dialogue muet de regards. L’impression est déroutante, dans cette espèce de foire aux copies, de <em>Wunderkammer</em>. L’émotion se partage entre amusement et étonnement, l’admiration pour l’objet n’étant pas permise par son statut de copie, il ne reste que l’observation de la forme. Face à l’informe des sculptures de <a href="http://www.anishkapoor.com/" target="_blank">Kapoor</a>.</p>
<p>L’exposition de Kapoor s’installe dans cette feinte : sculptures créées par des<a href="http://www.anishkapoor.com/621/Cement-room.html" target="_blank"> appareils inventés par l’artiste</a>, par une accumulation de matériel (béton), ce sont des créations où la main de l’artiste s’efface dans un procédé qui reproduit les processus naturels, en leur donnant une accélération. Des sculptures qui ressemblent à des agglomérats stratiformes, comme de pierres sédimentaires, des stalagmites, elle dégagent la force d’un totem. On peut pousser outre le dialogue entre Kapoor et la Renaissance, en insérant ces créations dans le discours théorique sur la sculpture élaboré pendant le <em>Cinquecento</em>, dans la perspective tracée par la formule de Michel-Ange, pour qui la sculpture se fait par <em>forza di levare </em>(en taillant dans la masse) et celle qui se fait par <em>via di porre </em>(en modelant) est plus proche de la peinture. Kapoor se rangerait donc plus du côté de la peinture ?</p>
<p><span style="color: #616161;">La Cappella dell’Ecole des Beaux-Arts di Parigi è un posto di per sé surreale: delle copie a taglia reale delle opere più notevoli del Rinascimento italiano e francese vi si trovano raccolte. Il <em>Giudizio Universale </em>della Cappella Sistina di Michelangelo, il <em>Colleoni </em>di Verrocchio, Niccolò Pisano e molti altri. La storia dell’arte riunita, come in un’antologia ideale, una galleria dove dei simulacri di capolavori si affiancano, si scambiano un dialogo muto di sguardi. L’impressione è divisa tra il divertimento e lo stupore, poiché l’ammirazione per l’oggetto non è consentita dal suo statuto di copia, non resta che l’osservazione della forma. Di fronte all’informe delle sculture di <a href="http://www.anishkapoor.com/" target="_blank">Kapoor</a>.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #616161;">La mostra di Kapoor si inserisce in questa fessura: sculture create attraverso l’accumulazione di materiale (cemento) da delle <a href="http://www.anishkapoor.com/621/Cement-room.html" target="_blank">macchine inventate dall’artista</a>, sono delle creazioni in cui la mano dell’artista si dilegua in un procedimento che riproduce i processi naturali, con un colpo di accelerazione. Delle sculture che assomigliano a degli agglomerati stratiformi, come delle pietre sedimentarie, delle stalagmiti, sprigionano la forza di un totem. Si può spingere oltre il dialogo tra Kapoor e il Rinascimento, inserendo queste creazioni nel discorso teorico sulla scultura elaborato durante il Cinquecento, nella prospettiva tracciata dalla formula di Michelangelo, per chi la scultura si fa “per forza di levare” e quella che si fa “per via di porre” è più vicina alla pittura. Kapoor si troverebbe quindi più dalla parte della pittura?</span></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Dans le ventre du <em>Léviathan </em>: un monstre informe, gigantesque, dont on dirait qu&#8217;il pourrait s’étendre à l’infini mais qui se trouve coincé, frustré par la voûte de la nef, bloqué dans son expansion. Comme un zeppelin échoué. À l’intérieur, la pression pèse sur la poitrine et empêche, contrebalance, l’élan contraire qui voudrait suivre le regard vers l’infini. La lumière rentre, illumine l’opacité de ces entrailles, en révélant la structure extérieure de la nef et les veines du ventre (les soudures) : on aperçoit le dehors, au-delà des parois étouffantes, mais la pression empêche tout élan vers le haut, vers la lumière.</p>
<p>La sculpture de Anish Kapoor est toute tension. Entre dehors et dedans. Entre un élan d’ouverture dans l’espace et la pression qui écrase au sol. Entre transparence et opacité. Vide et plein. Forme et informe.</p>
<p><span style="color: #616161;">Nella pancia del <em>Leviatano</em>: un mostro informe, gigantesco, che si direbbe che potrebbe espandersi all’infinito ma che si ritrova incastrato, frustrato dalla volta della navata<em>, </em>bloccato nella sua espansione. Come un dirigibile naufragato. All’interno, la pressione pesa sul petto e impedisce, controbilancia, lo slancio contrario che vorrebbe seguire lo sguardo verso l’infinito. La luce entra, illumina l’opacità di queste interiora, rivelando la struttura esteriore della navata e le vene (le saldature): si intravede l’al di fuori, oltre le pareti soffocanti, ma la pressione impedisce ogni slancio verso l’alto, verso la luce.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #616161;">La scultura di Anish Kapoor è tutta tensione. Tra fuori e dentro. Tra lo slancio di apertura nello spazio e la pressione che schiaccia al suolo. Tra trasparenza e opacità. Vuoto e pieno. Forma e informe. </span></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>La seconda immagine sono le strade deserte, i fili dell’elettricità che corrono lungo il villaggio, si intrecciano sopra la testa, strisciano il cielo. Sono le case sventrate. Una scenografia carica di storia che mi riporta al secolo scorso.</p>
<p><span style="color: #616161;">La deuxième image ce sont les rues désertes, les fils de l’électricité qui courent par le village, se croisent sur la tête, tracent le ciel. Ce sont les bâtiments éventrés. Une scénographie chargée d&#8217;histoire qui me ramène au siècle dernier.</span></p>

D’une frontière qui n’en est plus une. Mais le village garde cette empreinte, néanmoins. On y respire la frontière. On y échoue, on y passe. On n’y reste pas. Portbou est un <a href="http://www.gradivasoup.net/2009/06/09/ephemeres/" target="_blank">passage</a>. Walter Benjamin y a échoué. Intriguée par l’histoire, je suis allée à Portbou. Portbou, étrange <em>no man&#8217;s land</em>, village-passage, comme tous les villages de frontière. Portbou garde l&#8217;empreinte, porte le fardeau de l&#8217;histoire, village-passage où la vie de <a href="http://www.gradivasoup.net/2010/09/27/walter-benjamin-1892-1940/" target="_blank">Walter Benjamin</a> s’est arrêtée. Un passage à travers lequel il a trépassé.</p>
<p>La première image est la gare. Et la gare est à l’image de Portbou. Dans sa voûte, elle pourrait accueillir (pas seulement métaphoriquement) tout le village. Dans un village-passage, la gare se dresse en monument. Une gare majestueuse – démesurée &#8211; et déserte.</p>

Di un confine che non è più confine. Ma il villaggio conserva questa impronta, nonostante tutto. Ci si respira la frontiera. Ci si arriva, come naufraghi, si passa. Non ci si resta. Portbou è un </span><em><span style="color: #616161;"><a href="http://www.gradivasoup.net/2009/06/09/ephemeres/" target="_blank">passage</a></span></em><span style="color: #616161;">. Walter Benjamin ci è naufragato. Intrigata dalla storia, sono andata a Portbou. A Portbou, strana terra di nessuno, <em>village-passage </em>come tutti i villaggi di frontiera. Portbou conserva l&#8217;impronta, porta il peso della storia, <em>village</em>-</span><em><span style="color: #616161;">passage </span></em><span style="color: #616161;">dove la vita di <a href="http://www.gradivasoup.net/2010/09/27/walter-benjamin-1892-1940/" target="_blank">Walter Benjamin</a> si è fermata. Un </span><em><span style="color: #616161;">passage </span></em><span style="color: #616161;">attraverso il quale è tra-passato.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #616161;">La prima immagine è la stazione. E la stazione è all’immagine di Portbou. Sotto la sua volta potrebbe accogliere (e non solo metaforicamente) tutto il villaggio. In un villaggio-</span><em><span style="color: #616161;">passage</span></em><span style="color: #616161;">, la stazione svetta come un monumento. Una stazione maestuosa – smisurata – e deserta.</span></p>
